Heidi’s Hideout - October 2023

Well, the summer is officially over. As I write this at 4:30pm, it is already dark here and the days will keep getting shorter and shorter. The summer made socializing so easy. Everyone seemed to have more free time, and the nice weather made it possible to meet and hang out anywhere. Making connections and building trustworthy friendships will just require us to be more intentional within the coming months. So, October was a month for planning for the future. We have officially planned a date for our first visitors from abroad! Gabe and Naomi are both students at BVBI and have hearts for missions. They are both currently in Tanzania and will be spending nearly 3 weeks with us before going back to The States. We will show them both Prague and Olomouc. We hope to show them the beauty of this country, but most importantly, the spiritual need here.  We are still planning on ways to utilize their talents during their stay with us, but because we have started worshiping in Olomouc, we plan to do some community outreach to let the community know we are here!
