In an attempt to help encourage good Bible study, I always recommend one to do effective study in the Word of God before using other resources. There is a use to looking at other resources to enhance our Bible study, yet many resources may not be quality. There is a phrase that says you need to "eat the meat, but spit out the bones." We take the good things from extra-Biblical work for our own use, but it always needs to be checked to see what things do not match up with the scripture. Therefore, when scripture does not support something a resource might say, we spit out the bones.

This page is to give good study resources from the brotherhood that should help cut down on "bones to spit out," which will help us study the Bible how God wants us to and to grow our faith in the way God desires us to.

I have also provided evangelistic resources to help anyone in evangelism or evangelistic studies.

Bear Valley Bible Institute

This is the webpage for the study resources that Bear Valley has provided for anyone that looks. It is incomplete, but what can be found would be a list of keywords and other introductory material for quality deep study in the Word of God. The keywords are especially interesting because it tracks the most frequent, theologically significant words from the Greek text and marks them in the New American Standard Bible 1995 translation. So you too can mark the significant words of a book, which will help you see the themes that the writer has.

World Video Bible School

World Video Bible School (WVBS) provides many brotherhood resources to accompany your Bible study. It has many courses in the Bible which you can do on your own time. It also has a timed enrolled option for free which once completed will give you a certificate stating you have finished the course work. There are many topics and videos that can help in building your faith or understanding an out of season topic.

Apologetics Press

Apologetics Press is a great resource in helping defend the faith. They provide many articles, videos, and resources that will help you explain the existence of God, the deity of Christ, Christian evidences, and Christian science. They have a large selection for all ages from children to adults and they ship internationally. I highly recommend their material for young people, and I highly recommend their material for vacation Bible schools.

Searching for Truth

Searching for Truth is an evangelistic tool that can be used to easily guide people to the truth. It is a multi-part series that covers the topics of who goes to heaven and how to get there. It is available in English, Spanish, Russian, and American Sign Language. You can order some of their cards as a simple way to give a link to people at a restaurant, at the store, or to people passing by. You never know who might stubble across a card that would guide them into eternity.
